My final little act of guerilla politicking is underway.

So far this year I've

-put pre-typed notes in right-wing books at B&N pointing out their lies to potential buyers,

--made bumper stickers and t-shirts with *'s face with devil horns,

--attended rallies, engaged the stupid whenever possible,

--put stickers on Hummers that read "How many dead GI's do you get to the gallon?"

and now I'm looking over a batallion of plastic army men, just like the ones of your youth. Each will have a sliver of a note wrapped around it, tied with a tiny yellow ribbon, naming a soldier in Iraq, his/her station, and asking the person who discovers it to play with toy soldiers, not re-elect one. I plan to make a few hundred of these this weekend, and leave them in key places all over town (book store shelves, the parking lot of the local recruitment center, outside freeper hq, etc).

I need soldier's first names, and divisions or stations if you have them. Generic is fine, but I want each of these to represent a REAL soldier.

1. That is awesome.
I love the Hummer sticker. I wanted to make ones that said "WMD" and stick them on the bumpers.

2. I know a guy who left for Iraq last Saturday
He's the boyfriend of one of my employees. He's 28 and was supposed to get out of the Army last month. Now he'll be in Iraq a year.

His name is William, and he's based at Fort Lewis, Wash.

3. William is represented. Just made it.
He is one of the stomach crawlers. Crawling towards civilian life, I guess.
