GREAT! $300 in two days for a cat we don't even own
Well "Hobo" the cat is still here. We thought are friend's Mom was going to pick it up yesterday (I KNEW something was going to happen if it wasn't out of here yesterday) but she didn't.

After taking Hobo to the vet on Friday for a check-up and shot boosters ($180) last night our boy cat snuck by me at the front door and the king-fu fightin' Rock'emSock'em robots battle was ON!

Our boy has never been near this violent but I guess he had had enough of our guests on the front porch. He didn't fare to well.

I don't know if Hobo did to him or if he did it to himself but he had a cut on his left ear and one of the claws on his left paw was basically pulled out. We took him to the emergency vet and they went ahead and pulled to claw out and treated his ear....$120.

Now I have to give him antibiotics (my wife is going to be gone for the week on business) and he has a big red bandage on his paw. I couldn't help but laugh at him last night which my wife scolded me for-the boy is very sensitive and probably knew I was laughing at him. It was funny looking.

We are going to take it off this morning and Hobo will be out of here later this afternoon.

1. Easy way to give a cat a pill, is to wrap it in a small piece of soft
cheese, like velveeta.

We do that for the dogs, and they're so pavlovian prompted, when they hear their medicine bottles rattling, they come running for their treats -- even Joe, who isn't on any medication... (He wants to be part of the gang and all...)

BTW, if it helps, I've just paid out $4,000 for my littlest dog's broken leg, snapped in a tussle with her 'big sister'. That's four-thousand. Dollars. *gulp*

I hope puddy tat is ok!!!!!

2. Another good thing is pet toothpaste
I put that on my dog's pills, and he begs for more!

Sorry to hear about the kitties. . . .

4. PetroMalt might do too, my older cat goes
bonkers for those ribbons! Good idea to wrap the pill in a thing like that, never thought of it.
