3. I just watched it for the first time |
|
last night. It was intense and I had nightmares. I don't know if drugs would have helped. I had a couple of drinks....didn't make it any less upsetting.

11. I watched it for the first time when the rental became available |
|
...two weeks ago.
It upset me more than I'd anticipated. I thought I knew all there was to know about the film, I'd read literally dozens of reviews (pro and con).
I felt, for about twenty-four hours afterward, an intense feeling of personal sadness and anger at myself for not having done more to have opposed Bush in his early days. Most of us were "Bush's willing executioners," every bit as much as those Democratic senators who were too cowardly to sponsor a single Representative's protests.
Anyway, don't take any drugs. Stay sober. We need everyone focused.
(Ok, if caffine helps, go for it.)

8. The movie kind of depressed me... |
|
Don't get me wrong, obviously it's a great film with a lot of important information. But I know there are parts of it I really never want to see again because they are upsetting.
