How do you dress? preppy, punk, etc
Edited on Sun Oct-17-04 10:30 PM by JohnKleeb
I dress sort of preppy I admit though not fully. I'll wear bright T shirts with Cargo Shorts, Jeans and prefer to wear long sleeve shirts or polo ones with cargo shorts, jeans, and khakis. I wore skate shoes for the longest time but I think my damn feet outgrew em so now I wear those grayish new balances with white that everyone seems to have.

4. I have no style whatsoever. I confuse myself.
Edited on Sun Oct-17-04 10:34 PM by tjdee
I care so little about clothes LOL.

But I do read fashion magazines and see stuff I really like--I can't afford it though. I can't get what I really want, so mostly I don't care what I wear as long as my ass isn't hanging out of it.

I would love to be a fashionista though, like...I don't know, someone who really knows how to dress and accessorize and stuff.

I do enjoy a good v-neck. But that's not really a "style".

5. preppy.
lots of dress shirts all winter long. hardly anything without a collar. however, I abhor the popped collar. it only works for people who actually went to a New England prep school or are starring in an 80's movie.

6. Too many different styles to mention
I have a variety of looks that I usually go with.

Above all though, it's usually casual and comfortable but ranges from sporty to rave kid to hip hop star.

God, I sound like a Spice Girl.:silly:

Sexpot bohemian or maybe "prep" to an extent(I didn't know you young 'uns still used that word). I'm not so sure. I do have my own style and I don't like looking like a typical 30-something soccer mom.

Today I wore, a somewhat clingy brown and pink tie-dyed shirt, sueded denim jacket, short brown corduroy skirt, heeled brown boots.

10. I dress like a working man
Work boots, jeans and t-shirts. In the winter I wear a light jacket even when the temperature is down in the teens. I reek tough-guyness.

19. Reminds me of my father
and his family, all from Baltimore. They were blue collar workers and they wore workboots, jeans and white T-shirts. They'd go out by adding a plaid buttondown to the wardrobe.
When my dad got older he became a plaid addict, a trait he has passed on to me.

13. I do 'way cool mommy' stuff
I do bell bottoms, anime shirts (occasionally), pinstripe capris w/ big tied shirts, Funky sweaters and corduroys,,,,

My daughters friends open up to me sooo easily.

We are the 'cool house' we all went to as kids.

The difference is that I remember those days, and how to re-focus. It is fascinating and time-consuming.

16. Tiedyed Everything, Long Hair, Birkenstocks
I get white cotton or silk stuff (t-shirts, pants, and the occasional suit)
and tiedye it.

My feet like Birkenstocks.

All clothing should be loose enough (and sturdy enough) to dance in.

Have you noticed that large amounts of color seems to cause
confusion and consternation among the narrowminds?
(perhaps nowhere more obvious than on one of their own websites
http://www.protestwarrior.com -- note the monocrhomatic presentation
of their side. Seeing the world in black and white is more than
just a figure of speech for these people.

Still, I have them to thank for my avatar.

17. I just wear clean clothes.
I'm one of the bizarre women who doesn't give a crap about clothes. I'm not into style. I dress for functionality. I've never been one to notice what other people are wearing either. Some people will notice if someone else has been wearing the same outfit a few days in a row. I won't notice that.

29. Me too.. I am at an age/shape where nothing really looks "good"
on me, so I wear what fits and is comfy.. I am not out to impress anyone.. I like comfy sandals, and long beachwear type dresses..jeans and tee shirts..

We never go anywhere dressy, and sadly, the last 3 times I dressed up were for funerals.. :(

I used to be addicted to shoes and clothes.. I am CURED !!!!

18. My wardrobe MO
Khaki slacks usually (I prefer them to jeans. I like OD Green slacks, grey or brown slacks rather than light khakis). I always wear boxers and white T-shirts underneath. I almost always sport a plaid button down shirt, untucked unless at a club or at work. I also wear some hooded sweatshirts in colder weather.I wear a white Kangol cap with a Red Stripe. For shoes, I always wear Adidas Gazelles, prefferably with argyle sox.

20. Casual
i used to dress up, but not so much any more.

It actually freaks people out when I dress up, because they don't recognise me. I guess my VOICE changes too, because I have to say "It's ME, miss_kitty!"

21. Non work attire
In the summertime I wear hippy clothes. My favorite are my tie-dyed dresses. I can "go commando" as my brother calls it (nothing underneath) and nobody can tell. Thank goodness I'm not too big on top. Sandals are a must. I love being in bare feet!

I have a couple skirts for dress-up occasions, and lots of tank tops. If I could live where nobody but a few select people could see me I'd wear nothing but my bikini bottom! (I'm not that modest. You'll find out about that later.)

As the weather cools I'll wear jeans, but I'll only put away the sandals when the snow comes. If it gets too cold I don't even leave the house except to go to work. I hate bundling up when I don't absolutely have to.

23. I have two modes:
Warm weather mode: I am never without a Hawaiian shirt on over my TShirt.

Cool/Cold weather mode: I am never without my woodland camo BDU. (I love all the pockets on this thing!)

I always wear my UWSP Hockey cap.

I always wear a wristwatch. I feel naked and taunted whenever I go out in public without a wristwatch on.

I always wear jeans, unless I have to wear a suit or something.

25. A black muu-muu under a flowery sundress, of course
:P

Usually I dress like this, and in this order (I'm going all the way to the skin here):

Briefs, socks, cargo/carpenters (33/30) pants (I almost never wear shorts)
White undershirt (size medium)
Some sort of single-color T-shirt (occasionally with text on it)

Sometimes, I'll throw a hoodie or a fleece on over it. If I want to feel ghetto-white-boyish, I'll put on a red and black beanie and look like Jeremy Shockey.

I'm in pajamas now, but today I wore...

Black frayed Lucky jeans
Wifebeater that says, "Jersey Gurlz Play Dirty"
Vintage looking Fossil button down shirt
Very vintage looking belt
Absurdly expensive Italian shoes that I bought in Florence and absolutely adore

I'm also pierced, tattooed, and currently have very short burgundy hair gelled into a ducktail front.

Sometimes I wear a cowboy hat.
