1. All they did was stave off the inevitable
Merely a rear guard defensive win for Boston. This was a costly victory. They chewed up their bullpen to win this one, so I think fundamentals of the series are the same.

Although Rivera and Gordon also both went two innings each.

And as I recall, Joaquin Andujar's favorite word when he was learning English was, "youneverknow." Yankees haven't won the pennant yet.
