Picture a mountain scene. A deep blue lake. Big
trees and green things everywhere. Warm sun on
your cheeks. Gentle breeze a breezing. Light and
shade everywhere. A squirrel eating a walnut. And
so on. And you on a barco-lounger, watching it all,
with a drink of your favorite beverage by your side,
and nothing to do but lie there and soak up a little
sun and doze off watching the ripples on the lake. All
of a sudden a submarine surfaces in the lake, the hatch
opens, and a man in a white suit gets out and swims to
shore. He stands and shakes himself off like a dog. He
pulls a gun out of his pocket. He comes toward you. You
cannot move. He has a mustache and dark eyes. He puts
the gun to your forehead. It's cold. "I think you need
a little rest," he whispers. His breath is like apples.
He turns and walks toward the lake, gun in hand, swims
to the sub, gets in, the hatch closes, and the sub
submerges. So, that makes two of us who think you need
a little rest. Seriously.

Dave is out of hospital and recovering from his stroke well and is back at home in England where he'll be continuing his healing. Dave thanks you for your cards and email messages and promises to keep you updated on his progress!
