Hey, I just got polled
Edited on Tue Oct-19-04 06:30 PM by Danocrat
got a phone call by some company called Pro-Mark Research. It was extensive. Asked about all federal campaigns and included state Supreme Court candidates. Lucky I'm fairly informed on all the candidates.

5. We've been polled twice
The first time they asked for my husband -- he told them just to mark him voting for all the democrats because the republicans all have character issues. This poll may have been outsourced to India -- the questioners had an Indian (as in India) accent.

Then I got a computer call yesterday -- this poll was using voice recognition -- and this was highly gop biased.

There is a technique in polling of placing the candidate's name first in a poll -- which could tilt the poll toward that candidate. All the questions were gop top heavy -- all questions were set up -- yes -- no --

Republican -- yes or no
Democrat -- yes or no
Issues -- all the hot button hate questions

gay marriage -- yes or no
abortion -- yes or no (the questions were asked in a very loaded prejudiced manner)

I got disgusted and hung up -- the poll was set up for snap "yes-no" responses. Very little time was allowed after each loaded question.
