I was out on the computer typing my AP History Paper and my dad called me into the house for something. He has been an undecided voter all campaign long and I have been working very hard to bring him into the Kerry camp. I've printed out a lot of stuff on issues that he has questions about, I made him watch the debates, It's been my project.

Anyway, he had his ballot out (we live in Oregon, you vote by mail) and he turned to me and said "I think you should know" right then he turned away and voted for Kerry "I've voted to elect Kerry." I cheered, gave him a high-five and told him he'd made the correct decision.

VICTORY! I figured if I couldn't vote, I might as well try and influence another voter!
