Unbelievable anti-Bush rap song (if you can handle hardcore)
Earlier tonight I posted a link to an mp3 of Eminem's new single/October surprise "Mosh", which can be found here: http://www.shadysoldiers.com/shady/djgreenlantern/audio/eminem_mosh_sirius_bizness.mp3

On that same page, there's a second song, "Bin Laden", not by Eminem, but by a rapper named Immortal Technique, produced by DJ Green Lantern (who produced "Mosh"). You can hear it here:

http://www.shadysoldiers.com/shady/djgreenlantern/audio/immortal_techniquie_bin_laden-prod_by_dj_green_lantern_sirius_bizness.mp3

First, a few disclaimers. If you don't understand, at least in a disconnected sense, the anger of hardcore rap, this is pretty offensive. If you mind black rappers calling people n----rs, you will be offended. There's a bunch of MIHOP/LIHOP stuff in it as well, along with an outtake from an Eminem recording session that bought him a visit from the Secret Service. Take it with the artistic license it comes with.

But if you want to hear a great explanation about why the the Iraqi resistance shouldn't be terribly surprising, listen to the middle secition of this audio file.

2. Another anti-Bush rap to check out
There is a really excellent, biting and viciously right-on British rap by MC Life called "Bush and Blair" that's available on a CD compilation of anti-Iraq war music called PEACE NOT WAR.

A little about Immortal Technique he was born in Peru, raised in Harlem. I have one of his Cd's (Revolutionary Vol. 2)he touches on everything from the 9/11 attacks, war on terror, the drug war, just many things. He basically talks mad shit about the government!!! Especially Bush and Right-Wing conservatives god its beautiful!!! I recommend his CD for anyone who's likes Hip-Hop and is sick off all the bullshit thats going on. :smoke:

Yes, Hip-Hop is very anti-Bush!! I ain't never heard of any rapper supporting Bush!!

that was a heavy song, and i am not a huge fan of hip hop or rap either, but that song was intense....here's a link to the lyrics......

Embedded correspondents don't tell the source of the tension
And they refuse to even mention, European intervention
Or the massacres in Jenin, the innocent screams
U.S. manufactured missles, and M-16's
Weapon contracts and corrupted American dreams
Media censorship, blocking out the video screens
A continent of oil kingdoms, bought for a bargain
Democracy is just a word, when the people are starvin'
The average citizen, made to be, blind to the reason
A desert full of genocide, where the bodies are freezin'
And the world doesn't believe that you fightin' for freedom
Cause you fucked the Middle East, and gave birth to a demon

6. A couple of good ones by Sage Francis
http://www.non-prophets.com/home/

Hey Bobby references the corruption of the Bush regime, it seems to have been written in early 2003 judging from some of the lyrical content. The song starts with:

"By the time the flags rotted off of their antennas,
they were questioning who the real threat is.
Big Brotherly love is the 21rst Century's plague.
no matter how bloody the glove, question evidence displayed.

Don't forget what two plus two equals.
Don't let them upgrade your math no matter what they have as proof of evil.
Remember when they went after the Jewish people?
You don't recognize that same black mask as see through?"

And goes on to criticize the way * took office: "This so called president got elected in a courtroom/with the war efforts of pops, inherited a fortune".

http://www.non-prophets.com/lyrics/hey_bobby.html

Another good song by the same guy is "Makeshift Patriot", which challenges the way the media responded to 9/11

http://www.non-prophets.com/lyrics/makeshift_patriot.html

"Coming live from my own funeral...the beautiful weather offered a nice shine,
Which is suitable for a full view of a forever altered skyline.
It's times like these I freestyle biased opinions every other sentence.
My journalistic ethics slip when I pass them off as objective.
"Don't gimme that ethical @#%$."
I've got exclusive, explicit images to present to impressionable American kids,
And it's time to show this world how big our edifice is!"

Great songs, both of 'em. Check them out.
