Do you believe in, practice, VISUALIZATION? (examples?) |
|
I do . The simple words of my dad to, "put your mind to it" actually started making sense when I applied them to my life.
Example:
Ten years ago I was completing my last year of graduate school at Georgia State University. I wanted to teach at only one school - Grady High School next to Piedmont Park - The Magnet Program for Communications. Every morning I would spend fifteen minutes visualizing myself walking into the front door of the school, checking my mailbox, walking to my classroom, and writing my name on the board - every day same vision, same ritual. I applied to Atlanta Public Schools, interviewed at Grady and the first Fall out of school I walked into Grady High, checked my mailbox, walked into my new classroom and wrote my name on the board - then I knew it worked.

1. I try to visualize people using their turn signals |
|
But it usually doesn't work.

3. Yes, I think visualizing what you want points you in that direction. |

4. I Used to Do Self-Hypnosis |
|
and could put myself into a pretty good trance state. Worked with a counselor for awhile and then did it on my own.
I did a lot of exploration and found some interesting things. Ultimately it didn't have the desired effect and it dropped off.
It was different from what you're talking about. I may have to try your version. Heard it can be very effective.
