3. Sort of a dilemma here |
|
Love baseball, but I am a Cub fan and it's very hard to root for the Cardinals, for obvious and not so obvious reasons. But I'm sick of all the east coast bias that Fox and ESPN have shown so far. The Cardinals did have the best record in MLB and have it all. I also think that the home field for the Red Sox really shouldn't be, due to the Cardinals record, but thats baseball. This being said, I will raise a Sam Adams to the Red Sox and quietly say "go sox".

4. The All-Star game ruined home field advantage |

6. Yes it is a stupid rule |
|
The all star game is nothing more than an exhibition game, but Selig and the powers that be had a knee jerk reaction in 2002 when the game ended in a tie. I think the "experiment" is over next year though.

Last year in helped the Yanks until they blew it and it favors the AL (Sox) again this year.
Maybe the Sox will do a better job of taking advantage of it.

13. St. Louisans don't mind Sam Adams since it's a St. Louis beer |
|
"The brand originally began with only one variety, Samuel Adams Boston Lager. The recipe for this beer was originally developed in Saint Louis, Missouri by Louis Koch in 1860 and sold under the name Louis Koch Lager until Prohibition, and again until the early 1950s."
