Yeah, the Ashley Simpson thing was quite hysterical, but I have to say that skit with the Shrub and Tony Blair was a pleasant surprise. I was cracking up the whole time.

2. Sorry, Tony, it's pronounced "nucular"
One of the best skits I've seen on there in a while.

5. I have to say, all things considered,
That was the best SNL in a looooooong time. The Zell Miller w/ Tweety bit at the beginning was hysterical.

9. I missed the very beginning
:(

I tuned in when Weekend Update came on. However, what I saw was indeed a vast improvement over their latest efforts.

7. Thanks!
It just pisses me off that B*sh used wolves to instill fear, particularly on the last day of Wolf Awareness Week, particularly when his administration has taken steps to remove protections for them.

8. SNL was pretty good tonight.
From the Hardball cold opening with "Zell Miller" to the Tony Blair sketch, the political humor was sharper tonight. I also think Amy Poehler is starting to get more comfortable in the Weekend Update co-spot, and will be seen as an improvement over Jimmy Fallon (who, like most SNL performers, had grown on me right when he left the show).
