I sure don't. Believe it or not, until Princess Di's death, I was addicted to the soap opera and history of the English royal family. Why? Good question. It goes against my personality and my strong identification with working people. But the sad fact is, I was, and I even subsribed to Royalty Monthly magazine and another royal fan magazine that escapes me now. Plus my bookshelves at home were groaning with hardcover books about the history of the royal family.

Well, today the opening screen of AOL is blasting a story about Harry refusing to apologize about some "brawl" he was in. I haven't even been tempted to click on it. I'M CURED!!!! I'M CURED!!! I'M CURED!!!

It is a truly ignorant idea, that they have to support this German family. who do almost nothing useful, but live in great luxury, traveling around the world, acting like soap opera characters. Additionally, they have amassed a huge fortune because they were completely exempt from taxes until quite recently. Kings, Queens, Princes, Princesses, Dukes, Duchesses, Earls...., all should only be in children's' fairy tales. There is no place in modern society for these parasites.

You're right, and I knew all this when I was hero-worshipping them. I read lots of books about them, and knew how disgusting they were. But I was in love with the history of it somehow, and the human side to it all. I am so glad that I can see them clearly now.

He could potentially be Canada's head of state. For a man in such a position to behave in such a manner is unbefitting the noble position of Canadian head of state. After all, if Canada wanted a drunken brawler as head of state, they might as well let you be head of state.
