Good News for Beach Boy DU fans

My brother is a rabid Beach Boy fan and is a member of their news group and message boards. Last week a thread was started on who the members of the Beach Boys would vote for in the presidential election. Someone wrote in that Mike Love is a Libratarian but will most likely, in his estimation, vote for shrub. Another one wrote that Bruce Johnstone has been a conservative for years and the thought is that he would vote for bush as well.

Bruce Johnstone lurks on that website sometimes and he wrote in the same thread a message reply to the effect, "I would like to make a clarification on this thread. I will be voting for the other guy. For one thing, what George W. bush's enviromental policies have done has not only reversed the advances we've made for many years but has damaged the enviroment, in some cases permanently. I can't let this go on further therefore I am voting for Kerry. If you ask Mike Love you will find he feels the same way."

I don't know what Brian or Al thinks on the subject but this is certainly good and unexpected news.
