Anyone having troubling functioning with this election stress? |
|
Laundry's not getting done, house is a mess, daughter's watching a lot of TV, and work (well that ended a while back). Going to a rally this weekend and volunteering on election day, but I don't know if I can stand much more of this stress!

In one sense, when it's over (assuming we KNOW who will be the PotUS for the next 4 years on November 3rd), regardless of who wins, I will breathe a sign of relief. On the other hand, if the results are unfavorable... then it all begins again... stress, worries, etc...

2. I'm doing surprisingly o.k. but my wife is a mess... |
|
I'm normally a huge lump of human stress and anxiety under normal circumstances. I thought I would be worse at this point than I am. But my wife who is normally not a worrier is having stomach problems over this election.

|
that I was "worried I was getting an ulcer." He made fun of me for that one! No, seriously I am anxious person to begin with too, but this has been crazy. I can't focus on anything but the latest breaking news!

3. I know exactly what you mean... |

I've about had it. I've never been this animated and emotional about an election in my life. I can think of little else.

4. Yes! I'm a complete wreck. |

I'm also going to do some volunteering this weekend, and am going to the Kerry rally in Tampa on Sunday night. Tuesday can't come soon enough.

6. I want to fast forward to next week |
|
When I will be able to relax. I will take a long sabbatical from watching the news. It will be nice to not feel like I have to see what so-and-so is saying now.

8. Yes. Having trouble at work, in my classes and sleeping. |

The uncertainty is driving me up the wall. In a straight up or down, fair election with all eligible voters kerry would win in a landslide.
But this election already looks like it is being doctored up as we speak. It scares the shit out of me.
