Anyone know how to make an animated gif?

I'm imagining I can take multiple gif files and string them together to make the movie. This is for a project at work, and the animated gif will be part of a powerpoint presentation.

1. What image software do you have

Photoshop, Fireworks.....?

It's easy and has many other great features. Sort of a poor person's Photoshop.

4. No, use Flash. Free trial download at

www.macromedia.com

Here's the kicker. Fuck .gifs. They blow for animations. PowerPoint can play native Flash format, which will be far cleaner and colorful and just ~better~ than an animated gif will ever be.

Take my word for it, but don't ask for a step by step guide from me.
