Jack-o-lantern carving should be banned! |
|
While carving mine earlier today, the knife went through the pumpkin and into my hand. One emergency room visit and 5 stitches later, I am thinking the tradition should be banned for safety reasons.
I wonder if I should sue the pumpkin farmer? It would be legitimate; there was absolutely no warning label attached to the pumpkin.

Get a pumpkin carving kit, you know, the little orange handled saws. Greatest thing since sliced bread.
You should be able to find them for half price tomorrow.

I'm not sure a roto-zip would cut it. I've yet to find anything that my roto-zip does a good job on. :(

Me showing up with a bandaged hand didn't hurt, I'm sure.
Always go for the sympathy vote. ;-)

14. i bought one of those kits...ONCE... |
|
they were crap, and all fell apart before the first pumpkin was done.
a steak knife(BTW- to qualify as a true steak knife it MUST be serated) and a paring knife(or a boxcutter/stanley/carpet knife) do nicely, thank-you.
