There are plenty of people over at places like CU who claim to be high-count posters here. There are also a few posters who seem intent on spreading doubt, sidetracking threads or spreading false information. Whether those people are moles, disruptors, contrarians or just misguided is the question.

5. Back in 2000 after the election

some local organizers kept getting e-mails about protests we were planning. They ended posting on their website that the protest had been cancelled and then send those of on the e-mail list that the event was still on. I called a bunch of people who ended up relying on the website. It was totally wacked. From that I learned the freepers were terrorists. None of them showed up at any events we held but then again they had already won when the organizers caved and announced the canceling of events.

The lesson I learned was that they talk a lot but they just don't have the either the balls or numbers to actually show up a lot of times. I truly hope that any freeper attacks are overblown. Don't ever let them bully us.
