Ok I just joined the Human Rights Campaign and the ACLU |
|
and I made three contributions to DU.
IF I were to have more money left over, who would you recommend I give a donation to and/or join?
Liberal causes, especially LGBT rights, and strong organizations that further them, are what I am looking for.

Going to google. Help me guys!

3. Yeah I've been wanting to join the ACLU |
|
for about a year now, but the election was keeping me hopping and I was giving money to Kerry, the DNC and two state candidates, so I knew I was going to get to it after this was over.
Amnesty International huh? Going to find their homepage now.

How are the hubby and critter? Feeling any better? I LOVE having my ACLU card in my wallet right next to my driver's license. You wouldn't believe the number of lips I've seen curl up unpleasantly when I have to show my driver's license at a store. I just smile real big and let em enjoy it.
When Holly (she of the police uniform on Saturday) and I went to the Pro-Choice march in DC, the clerk at American Airlines (black man in his 50s) proudly said, "I like that card in your wallet!" He was happy to help us any way he could when he found out who we were and where we were going.
It opens doors, I tell ya! FSC

Well, OK. Just kidding.
We've done a little bit (the dishes obviously), but with the inertia that settled over me after the latest theft, all that crap is still all over my walls and ceiling. And I need to make a Target run to get some of the big storage containers to put all my new Halloween gear into.
The weather is supposed to be nice this weekend, so I should be able to do the White Tornado to the house that it's needed for months!
Fargo loves everybody. He's my buddy. He and Al are what's keeping me going right now. :loveya: FSC
