Poll question: D.U. /D.C. Coronation meetup |
|
Who's up for it?
We should wear some black hoodies and show our utter contempt for the Newly Minted Fuckhead-in-Thief.
Have get together afterwards too.
We won't be celebrating, but we'd get to meet each other and God knows what.

Probably be asked to sign a loyalty oath before entering DC, and the locals will have been bussed out to a field several miles away with no water or food.

4. You might consider e-mailing Michael Moore and telling him... |
|
..."We are going to wear some black hoodies and show our utter contempt for the Newly Minted Fuckhead-in-Thief"...
and I would be willing to BET that he'd grab one of the cameramen from the zillion or so he had out at the polls and put you in the next MM movie.
Just in case you'd like that. Seriously, what's the worst he can say..."no thank you?"

8. Flame me for being cautious .... |
|
but I think it is a bit premature at this point to consider this a total, verified win for Shrubya.
I am exercising caution and patience for a while, until the vote count situation is cleared up to my satisfaction. No point in laying down and being totally defeatist as the media would like us all to do.

I LOVE you guys!!!
Fact is, Kerry gave up the goat.
Shrub is going to stick his fist further up America's ass. And that too is a fact.
I'd like a get together with some other lizards to witness the impending coronation debacle.
Let's drink to the country's self immolation

I am usually very pessimistic and the glass is usually empty for me.
However, there are some rumblings and whispers and I hear them, (no, not voices in my head).
I also see the possibility that Kerry's concession was strategic, based on what happened in 2000. The PEOPLE, etc., have to do the fieldwork this time.
I am skeptical and cautious but ejaculuations of total, abject loss and failure might be premature. It doesn't hurt to wait it out and see.
Everyone is free to see it as they choose.

Tuesday night when I thought Kerry had a chance, I had Expedia bookmarked for a flight to DC (after all, there is family there). Yeah, I could taste partying it up on Inauguration Day.
However, with the change in events, I plan to stay home on Jan 20 and make a 4 day weekend of it.
My proposal is party in your own state. Dress code : black hoods
