What music have you listened to lately?
Today was the first day I really felt like listening since the "election."

I listened to these CDs:

Steve Earle - The Revolution Starts..Now
Maria Mena - White Turns Blue
Thea Gilmore - Avalanche

All three CDs are excellent! I'm going to have a hard time picking out 10 favorites from 2004. Maybe I'll skip it and just pick a best of 2004.

1. I've been listening to "Songs that Inspired F9/11" since Tuesday
and nothing but. I really like the Steve Earl song and I'll probably pick up the album. Is the rest of it in the same vein as "The Revolution Starts Now"?

3. Pretty much
It's an awesome CD. Steve Earle is the best!

I added Greenday to the list, too. Gotta love American Idiot.

Had her on most of the evening. I think I'm in 'that' mood, and am dropping a not-so-subtle hint for Paddy.

25. Sounds good!
Buddy Guy may have to be next in the cd player. Or maybe some Lousiana Blues, such as Mr. Raful Neal, who transcended politics. Hey come to think of it, Buddy Guy was born in Louisiana. No matter, it's all good.

I go between being really mad and very sad. I love Simon And Garfunkel when I'm in any mood, but I agree that they can be soothing now. I'm more mad than sad today, so I got out Steve Earle. :hi:
