Six Feet Under, Over
http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?file=/news/archive/2004/11/08/entertainment1233EST0533.DTL

"Six Feet Under," the quirky HBO series about a Southern California family that runs a funeral parlor, will end its run after its upcoming fifth season.

Kinda peaked a couple of seasons ago, but it's a shame when any great series ends. At least I'm comforted that HBO has the "Rome" series coming up.

4. Follows two Roman soldiers
when they return home to Rome after the wars. It'll be different because it won't focus on Roman royalty/political intrigue/fat bald guys in togas carrying scrolls, but more about life for the average Roman citizen. Should be good.

7. Have you read any Gary Jennings?
"Aztec" and "The Journeyer", Aztec (duh) and Marco Polo historical fiction--but so well researched they're amazingly vivid. He inserts tons of details that in another writer's hands would come off as an archaeology textbook.
