I really hate it when the person next to me in a movie theater, decides to take huge handfuls of popcorn and shovel it into their mouth. It's like...thanks, I really don't want to listen to you chewing mouthfuls of food. :puke:

4. What's worse is when people have candy...

and they decide to open it slowly, because everyone likes to hear cellophane for 5 minutes. And they can never get it open on the first try, it usually takes a few struggles, use the teeth, hand it to a friend "can you get this open?" and the ensuing conversation about how candy makers are just making it hard for people to enjoy the product. Use too much force, Reese's Pieces or Jujy Fruits spill on the floor and they complain to no end. It's why I boycott candy/popcorn at the movies nowadays.

I'm spoiled in the privacy of my own home..making my own popcorn and hitting the "pause" whenever I want to go to the powder room.:)

not really, but if the sight of me stuffing popcorn into my mouth, which gives me great joy in these troubled times, bothers you so much...it's a big theater. I'm sure somewhere there's an open seat where nobody's offending your delicate popcorn-eating sensibilities.

I love to stuff my piehole with so much popcorn that I'm on the verge of asphyxiation, but I can't condone the loud chewing. There's an art to chewing popcorn without bothering those around...something to do with saliva saturation first.
