New Horror flick: "Saw"
Edited on Tue Nov-09-04 03:43 AM by UdoKier
What a great movie. Just came back from seeing it. It has a lot in common with "Se7en", so there is some gore and some shock value...

But strangely, in the end, it has the same effect on the viewer as the "games" are supposed to have on the victims - should they survive.

I couldn't wait to hug my kids when I got home.

Cary Elwes was ever so slightly hammy, but the whole thing worked as a whodunit, a thriller and a horror piece at once.

I'll definitely catch it again on DVD and look for details I missed the first time.

2. Out of curiosity
You posted that you were looking for someone between the age of 28 to 33. Does your wife know about this?

I have to do a thesis in my psychology class on the patterns of men and women dating between the ages of 31 to 38. Fraud said that (not his words but you can get the jest of it) men develop an age crisis and start to look for a younger woman at that age.

My paper is due on Tuesday and any input would be greatly appreciated.

3. It was pretty good.
Probably could have been better, but I enjoyed it. I can see some similarities to Seven, but really there's no comparison. Seven is a masterpiece, Saw is just a decent horror flick.
