What's a girl to do? I have no munchies of any kind in the house. :(

1. There's GOTTA be a 24-hour something where you live, right?
And I don't mean a convenience store. A Del Taco or a Jack in the Box? Even if you want healthy, Jack in the Box has some MEAN salads!

2. No. Nothing.
I thought about making a grilled cheese sandwich, but I'm out of fricking butter. Wonder if I could use olive oil instead?

A salad would be heavenly. I've been so busy today, I never stopped to eat, and then, a few minutes ago, it hit me that I am starving.

We don't have any all-night eateries here. None. :(

19. How is that possible?
Isn't at least Kroger like everywhere now? There's got to be something.

The one thing that I hated when I was in Europe was that nothing was open ultra-late. It made me appreciate the American way. :)

18. Have you EVER been out of the city?
After Labor Day this little fishing village I live in pretty much closes down. The convenience store/gas station closes at 10PM and you are out of luck unless you drive about 8 miles up to the state highway. We don't even HAVE a real grocery store here.

Some of the restaurants/bars stay open all year, but it is really tough with just the locals.

This is why I am always amused when people wonder why we all don't use public transportation. A county bus comes through here I think twice a day. That's it. They shut down the water taxi after Labor Day too.

11. Where do you get them?
I usually go to two places on Magazine St., New Orleans. It's been a while since I've gone and fished for 'em. I could eat ten pounds right now, with a few Cajun taters, corn, and some garlic.

Damn! And all I got is Peanutbutter Capt'n Crunch or PB sandwich... I could slice a banana on it too.

12. All over the place, here.

There's a local seafood place here that cleans them well and cooks them to perfection.

Last year's harvest, they were really small--no big crawdaddys in any of the sacks that I bought. Hope this year's is better.

16. I often went to Percy Quinn State Park with my family back in the 7Os
I like the area around McComb a lot, especially in February when it is cold and hardly any campers are there. Now that I think of it, I might ask my dad if he'd like to go there as soon as I'm out of school. I love all the nature trails. :)

:hi:

My sexy Italian neighbour just had me over for a post-club meatball sandwitch (sp?) and a glass of chianti. I think she's a keeper.
