My 100th post! Wanna buy me a drink?

I know, you thousand-plussers might think at best this is "quaint" (Today's episode of Sesame Street is brought to you by the word 'quaint' ;) .), or at worst, I am a freeper troll (You can look me up w/ political contributions - really, truly, I am a lefty, OVER MY DEAD BODY would I ever vote for a republican!), but I am so happy that I found the DU. I am a latecomer to the whole blog thing and I am glad I finally found the DU and registered myself. The DU has saved my sanity during all this post-election turmoil. This is a place I can come to for some commiseration and consolation.
It's places like the DU that will get me through the next four years... THANKS, EVERYONE!

PS A fair chunk of my previous posts have been about my plans to move to Canada. I've decided to lay low w/ discussing this too much. It tends to bring people down or make them mad at me. Still going, though...

Are you wearing socks?
It will blow them off.
I keep the gin in the freezer.
When I pour it in the classic glass (straight up, NOT on the rocks) it will freeze the onion and anchovie-stuffed olive rock solid. Crunchy.
I will spray a mist of dry vermouth on the top.
It will make a tiny skating rink for a few moments.
