What is your favorite "Star Trek: The Animated Adventures" episode? |
|
If you can come up with a single one then you win the most knowledgeable Trekkie at DU award. I don't remember one episode, though I do remember seeing it when I was younger. There was an alien with three legs and a catwoman as the crew. No going over to startrek.com and cheating!

6. The one in which Spock travels back in time to his childhood |
|
...in which we get a priceless view of preteen Spock as an outcast on Vulcan, where all the other kids gave him shit for being a halfbreed, and his only friend was an enormous sabre-toothed cat. Wonderful, sad little story.
That series actually broke a lot of ground for Trek: first inexhaustible FX budget, first apperance of the Holodeck, first Trek show ever to win a Peabody Award (eat it, TNG).

7. What was that one where they ended up inside the red fog |
|
that turned out to be a giant brain and Spock had to meld with it to figure out how escape from it without killing it?
They showed that during recess when it was raining in high school. Often.

I think that was the title, and it was written by Larry Niven. The Kzin ship was PINK! ('Cause the director was color-blind)
