You know, I have to say that I spent most of the last 3 years on the Smirkingchimp. I love that forum to but the people aren't nearly as nice and wonderful as here. So, this is my forum home now!!

...but I got tired of not being able to get into the discussion forums if I lost my password (which happened all the time), and not being able to log in even when I did have my password. Here I could lurk and read as long as I wanted, and in the event that I, er, misplaced my password, it was always quick and easy to get another. No disrespect to SmirkingChimp, it's an important and informative site, with a great name ... but DU is just more accessible.

No get out there and stalk people with the search mechanism and take polls of everything from "what's your favorite brand of kitty litter" to "who's your favorite philosopher."
