Need a star? Guess my country. |
|
I was given one by a kind soul and feel the need to pass along the good deed.
So...if you can tell me what country - besides the US - I have lived in, I will make a donation to DU in your name.

I lived abroad as a teen. Um, let me think of a clue... In the country where I lived, they like to eat chocolate sprinkles on toast for breakfast. Yummy!

They had an American store there, and it's amazing the things you miss when you can't have them!
Hagelslaag - my fave toast topper.

Ya know, this has been a rather shitty year for me...not just on the political spectrum either--I sometimes feel I have been on the "If anything can go wrong, it will" treadmill! An unexpected gift like that is a real spirit lifter!
Have you ever had Nutella? Sinfully delicious on toast, and brutal on peanut butter--it's hazelnut and chocolate, but you add peanut butter and it tastes like a Reese's sandwich.

A little Nutella on a baguette, a cappuccino, and I am a happy happy girl.
I hope this is the beginning of a whole lot of things going right for you.

I had the same breakfast on more than one occasion, except I used crusty bread (Italy). I'll have to try some of those chocolate sprinkles on toast--what a wonderful way to start your day! Wonder if they are sold in here in the provincial US of A?
Thanks, again!
