My Karma is finally turning!

I don't want to jinx myself, but I just got some very, very good news and my life seems to be rapidly turning for the better. Keep giving me all your vibes, guys. I need it. I've been in job-hunting, "trying" to get out of a lousy marriage, and otherwise making life better. The series of events to come in the next month should do it if all goes as planned.

There was general agreement that it would be a good idea. But I thought that was all we agreed on-- we hadn't decided on either the date (either Friday or Saturday after Turkey Day) or the place (open suggestions included Clery's, Grendel's, and someplace in Newton).

The original thread is back in the archives now, I think. A new thread has been spawned in the Massachusetts state forum (where trof probably won't see it, so somebody should PM him).

I'm in CT. So if something happens, someone PM me too. I'm hoping that if there is a gathering, it will be soon because I'll probably be working Saturday and Sunday nights by early-mid December.

The Newton was a last minute suggestion - I think the general consensus was Clery's - day after or Sat. after Turkey Day.

Not that I'm biased.

I'll be sure to have someone else start a new thread on the matter around Monday or so. Hard to keep things kicked these days.
