It only took me a WEEK, but I remembered the name of a restaurant |
|
in Denver.. The Cooperage,,
An aging mind is a thing to behold.. Last week someone had a thread about Colorado.. I remembered one of our favorite restaurants "The Greenery", but could not for the life of me remember the other... so....
last night we were eating out and the waiter brought the wine list and on the cover was a suggestion to try "Copper Ridge" wines.. I blurted out.. The Cooperage...!!!
My husband looked at me like I was NUTS!! (after 34 years, he KNOWS I am :)..)
anyone else have these "time-release" recollections?

those time release things can be handy or damning, particularly for those of us who blurt out! :7
I ate and drank at the Cooperage while in town on bidness a decade or so ago. It was impressive.

2. Absolutely. I'm constantly doing that and then, two days later, |
|
in the middle of another conversation, will blurt out the word. After 30 years of marriage, my husband never misses a beat and always knows to what I am referring. :)

3. I HATE when that happens! It drives me crazy, and the more I think |
|
about it, the harder it is to remember. then suddenly it just pops into my head while doing something else... Are you sure it's age related? I'm only 37 and I've been doing this most of my life...if it gets worse, I'm in trouble!
