God I love BC

I was at a regional district board meeting this morning. It's kinda like a county I guess. Anyway, the PR guy from a mining company was giving a presentation. ANd he mentioned some people had done internet searches on his company and found ties to Halliburton. He said unfortunately there is a Norwegian Company with a similiar name linked to halliburton.

The best was how he put it though.

"We want to make it clear we are not affiliated with Halliburton, or Dick Cheney in any way."

Gotta love a company that wants to make it clear they have no business relationship with the Vice President of the UNited States.... what does that tell you about the VP?
