MAC computer people please help meeeee!
These are the specs of the Mac Powerbook G4 I want to get. Is that a good amount of RAM? I have no idea what I am talking about.



* 256MB DDR333 (256MB built-in)
• 60GB Ultra ATA drive @ 4200rpm
• Combo Drive (DVD-ROM/CD-RW)
• AirPort Extreme Card
• Keyboard/Mac OS - U.S. English
• 1.33GHz PowerPC G4
• NVIDIA GeForce FX GO 5200 with 64MB DDR Video Memory
• 12.1-inch TFT Display

Subtotal $1,599.00

Look in the lobby, click on "Groups" and go to the mac user board. They've helped me in the past. :hi:

3. NO..OS X is a memory hungry OS .
I would say 512 MB minumum.

You can buy ram cheaper through third party.

If you have the cash buying as much ram as you can afford is best bet

5. Mac RAM--the more the better
If you can afford it, get more RAM--as much as you can afford. I have a 15 inch Powerbook G4 also. Same size hard drive (60 gb) but I have 1 GB of RAM. You might not need that much but if you can manage it, get at least 512. Otherwise it's a great computer. You'll love it!!! Good luck.

Add at least 256mb more ram, 512 if you can afford it.

11. no you need more ram.
512 at least better 768 or a Gig.

If you get it from some places like macmall maybe. they have deals like ram free after rebate, wireless router free after rebate, free shipping, manbe no state sales tax depending on your location....
