Best/worst bottled water?

I'm an Ozarka Spring Water person. And you?

1. Dont know the name

But I had a bottle of REAL mineral water in Romania once that was so laded with minerals that it was thick as sludg. It tasted like sludge as well.

6. Never touch the stuff

"We found high levels of bacterial contamination in commercially bottled mineral water," Klont told Reuters Health.


Overall, 40 percent of all samples showed evidence of contamination with either bacteria or fungi. Bacteria could be grown in lab cultures from 21 samples.


"These findings indicate that the general perception that bottled water is safe and clean is not true," Klont noted.

Bonaqua: Tap Water bottled by the Coca-Cola-Company. Not even hyper-"purified" like Dasani.

Best is ahrder; frankly I have no idea.

14. Anyone ever tried Voss?

Artesian water from Norway. Bought an $8.00 bottle for a gift, but never had the chance to try it. Supposed to be among the purest waters in the world.

Aquafina is bottled at Pepsi plants using processed municipal water. Another soft drink giant, Coke, has entered the bottled water business with Dasani, a processed municipal water with added minerals.


I'll take some Fiji when I can get it, or Poland Spring (which I'm drinking at the moment).

I never drank bottled water when I lived in NYC, which has some of the finest tap water anywhere. NJ, on the other hand, has dreadful tap water and I can't Stand it!
