9. I wouldn't worry about it

I used to see my threads die or thought that I was the Ted Bundy of threads, but now I just let them die. There are many people here and there are some people who are just more "popular" than others and people tend to reply to those threads no matter what.
Just keep plugging away and you will get to the point where if one of your threads out of five gets a reply...you are doing well. Don't let it get ya down. :)

I've started threads where I thought I was really saying something worth discussing, and then I see it drop like lead while threads on things such as "What toe is your favorite toe?" has 120 posts....lol.

And two days later, somebody else starts a thread on the exact same topic (often linking to the same article) that gets a hundred responses.

Sometimes it just don't pay to be ahead of the curve.
