I watched the last two episodes and...wow. It's so weird. Am I alone here? I honestly can't comprehend how a group of people can sit around this storyboard and agree that yes, this must be made into a cartoon.

1. I loved the "Clerks" TV show |

Who is driving? Bear is Driving.
HOW CAN THIS BE????
I never laughed harder watching something on TV than I did at the end of that episode. Classic.

I've seen it. I've hated it. I expect much higher quality from Adult Swim.

3. I saw it, and I'm not quite sure what I think yet. |

I need to see a few more episodes before I can decide whether it's just a really weird good show, or just a really weird show.
It has potential, though -- the Dubya-esque President was pretty funny, and the Chan character did some pretty unusual things. If done right, this could actually be good. However, it won't necessarily be done right. :)

Here's what I've read about SMC: That it was popular in Japan for a while because of all the pop culture references slipped into the dialog. Unfortunately, an American audience isn't likely to understand any of those references, so the references go over our heads and we miss out on the joke.
I have heard that there is a dub of SMC that IS made for American audience and has references that we will get, and in turn makes the show much funnier to watch.
Also, she doesn't repeat "you dumbass" over and over.
The one Adult Swim uses though, isn't funny to me and the vocal actors get annoying after a while.
