Tell your friends congratulations for me. :toast: I go to the University of Virginia as well, I'm a second year. What a coincidence meeting someone on DU that goes to my school.

Truly amazing. Another family friend at Annapolis was up for the award...and didn't make it. Win or lose, it is still quite an honor to be in the pool. My son did not make the final cut for the Marshall Scholars. It is hard to get that far and not win. Such is life! Hey, he will have to be another one of the Presidents that didn't win a major post grad award. ;-)
