Angry voice mail left for a wrong number
So I come into work this morning and find that I've got new messages. First thing I should note is that I work for a company that is titled an acronym that sounds similar to the FDA (Food and Drug Admin). So, it's this woman who's PISSED. She starts screaming that the pharmaceutical industry is ruining America's health and the FDA hasn't done anything. She says she's going to report them to Washington DC and take them to the Superior Courts. I applaud her for her convictions, and she IS right, but this isn't how to get things done. They're literally just going to laugh at her.

So do I call her back and let her know she dialed the wrong number or should I save her the double embaressment?

2. Call her back.
Tell her the mistake but that you agree with her and are also working for change and gently suggest other ways to go about it. That's what I say!

3. Similar thing happened to me...
... I got a message on my cell phone.. "Um... hi.. if this is the girl on the bike.... we met the other night over by (some street) ... Um.. I'm trying to get a hold of you.... my number is xxx-xxxx... call me...."

I was laughing because it was likely that some girl gave this dude a bogus number just to get him off her back...

I thought about calling him back, but never did.... better luck next time, homie.

:dunce:

Heyo

4. I had a Guy call me once and accuse me of sleeping with his wife.
Edited on Mon Nov-22-04 10:26 AM by BlueJazz
He started calling me every name in the book before I could say anything.
After his Rant I told him I was not the one and asked did he call XXX-XXXX (My phone Number)
He paused and said "Oh Shit..Man, I'm sorry"
We talked about his Cheating wife for awhile and I told him not to do anything foolish and she may not be worth it and all that.

Actually, it was rather interesting! :)

5. I had a girl call my cell phone
she thought it was her boyfriend's cell phone number and started screaming at me that i was answering her boyfriend's cell phone, and who was I and what was I doing with her boyfriend, etc. I said she must have called the wrong number - I got my cell phone through my husband's work, and there is no boyfriend associated with it. LOL. She said she was sorry and hung up.

7. A guy left a message for "Lisa" on my voicemail for
a year and a half. Every few months. "Lisa, please call..." It sounded like a business related thing.

One time, I picked up the phone and he said "Lisa?!?!" And I said no, blah blah blah.

He initially didn't believe that I wasn't Lisa, or that I didn't know this Lisa. But he stopped leaving messages after that.

Glenda, aka, not Lisa
