1. Elope!! Elope!!! Elope!!!
Marriage is wonderful.....weddings are a pain!!!!!

You'll be lucky if you don't end up hating each other or your families at the end...

run away, run away....

(btw: we did 30 years ago....never regretted it.)

3. we got married in the gazebo at Goodale park in Columbus ohio
with two ducks in the pond behind us as witnesses. THen we threw a big party a few weeks later to celebrate. It was so nice not to have the stress of planning/executing a ceremony/dinner/reception.

6. we tried that earlier that day ,and the secretary said, "you need an appt"
so I say, "what do you have open today" and she laughed...turns out the next "appointment" was six weeks away. As I was walking out disappointed, she called me back in and handed me a card for a local minister...I called her from the elevator, and she said, "meet me in Goodale park in 20 minutes. She drove up with her robes on and we got it done right there and then.

In Ohio, somewhere as yet undecided. We're thinking about the castle in Alliance.

11. RUN - Don't do it
Kidding. Congrats on the nuptuals. I went to a wedding at the University Club a few years ago. Nice place with very good food. It may be pricey though.
