1. The Cubs traded him.
A sure sign of greatness in any baseball player.

2. He is DAMNED good.

Very deceptive delivery. Long and lanky and left-handed. Already they are comparing him to Vida Blue -- who, like Willis, wore Number 35.

I hope he starts for the National League tomorrow night, though I doubt very seriously that he will, because he pitched -- and WON -- yesterday.

4. If the Marlins do,

then THEY need to get the hell out of the baseball business.

Contract BOTH the Marlins and the Devil Rays. Major League Baseball will never succeed in Florida because of the boneheads who run both those teams.

BTW: What's up with your boy Clarett? At least MIAMI has a higher graduation rate than your beloved Buckeyes.

5. On second thought....
Is it YOU who is the Miami fan? I know that you and Ohio State alum/fan AWD were ragging on each other after the Fiesta Bowl. If I get the teams mixed up, my apologies. The OSU icon confused me. Peace.

6. The kid is good
and I got him on fantasy baseball team for free :)

trumad is right; the Marlins will dump him in an effort to stay a perpetually mediocre franchise.

7. Funky Stuff, No Doubt
He brings the heat and sure has a funky delivery!

I worry from a medical point about his arm because of that delivery...it sure looks like he puts a whole lot of torque on him elbow, even with the follow through.

At least he didn't have to go through Torberg's House of Slag like A.J. Burnett and Brad Penny. They should never let that assclown near a major or minor league bullpen again.

8. They are being VERY careful with that arm.
Jack McKeon and his staff have him on a very strict pitch count. They are not taking any chances.
