I feel sorry for them. They have to hang-out until later tonite and now fly the red-eye. Instead of arriving tonight, they'll get here at 11:44 tomorrow.

Okay.. I'm done venting. I know, I know. He's not an amputee arriving in Germany; he's not in a foxhole on the desert eating turkey from a plastic bag.

I will tell you what my kid HAS done. He and his SO have typed all the names of deceased soldiers -- onto metal tags -- and tied them onto the fence of a vacant lot on a main boulevard in Oceanside, CA.

Okay... maybe now I'm done venting. CHEER ME UP!
