My wife and I. Then there will be Louie, Elliot, Moses, Gabriel and Maggie May. They are NOT allowed to eat at the table, but MUST wait patiently until we are done. IF they have been good, they MIGHT get a treat off the table.

It's fun to pull out the good-china at least ONCE a year. And even though it's just the four of us, we cook like we're expecting a family reunion!! It's an embarrassment of riches.

We're going to my aunt's house. She's invited her side, with all four of her remaining siblings and their families, and then her husband's family with his brothers and their families. It's a good thing she lives in a big house. I'm excited. It'll be great! Duckie

Me and elderly parents. S.O. not welcome, so he'll be at his own mother's house. Sad, really, but why torture all 4 of us, since there's so much animosity there.

|
Depending on who shows up.
and we won't be all around the same table, either. some will be watching the Cowboys, some will be at the bar, some in the kitchen, some in the den...
I only got them all around the same table once, and that is when wehosted Thanksgiving dinner and it was at 7 pm, so the football game was over. I put all my tables end to end and seated 17.

brothers and their girlfriends, parents, other sibs and my husband and kid. And I suspect lots of beer and football and political talk as usual. We were doing the feast the last few years and we have reverted back to my mom's house this year since our house is full of boxes.

Peace, Bella
Do the dog and 2 cats that will be sitting BY the table begging for scraps count? If so, that's 6!

because we are going to my side of the family who are liberals. Now x-mas at the in-laws will be a different story. I understand my half wit nascar brother in law who never gradieated hi skewl will be wearing a 4 more years bush hat this year. I can't make any promises. His wife is a cop who has the potential to be be shot at by semi automatic weapons and teflon bullets. Now they both have a chance of getting their overtime pay cut.
