Compay Segundo Passes Away

Compay Segundo passed away last night in Havana at the age of 95.

With him the legendary mantle of Papa Montero will pass on to a new person, for he was the the living, breathing embodiment of everything Papa was in myth.

I have an excellent Segundo record that I listen to often at work. He will be missed.
