I am really considering getting some type of satellite radio. Today I went to check out both Sirius and XM. XM has a line up of Air America Radio shows, but it seems as if it does not carry all of the shows. Can anyone tell me if Sirius carries the whole line up of Air America Radio shows?

I had Sirius for about a day and couldn't make it work to save my life. If/when I get satellite radio again, it'll be XM. Clear Channel, yes, but they have a very small stake in it. And XM will have major league baseball this spring.

5. I have XM, bought an Acura TL and XM is standard equip. |
|
Originally I let it drop after the trial service, but they offered me a deal I could not refuse -- $4.99 mo if I signed up for a year. I re-signed, and I love it!
Yeah, I know they support the opposition, but what am I supposed to do, rip out the transmitter and get another one? Get Sirius! (hehe!!)

6. I am addicted to Sirius. It comes with our DishTV and I love it. |

They even have some of the DJ's I grew up with. It is like having an old friend back!

Got Sirius Disorder on through the Dish right now. Haven't tried XM, but Sirus is the best radio spectrum since about '69, with solid programming on a number of channels - but Dish just gets the music part. Word is that the new head of Sirius plans serious commercials on the talk channels, but not on the music ones.

9. Why Sirius instead of XM |
|
My reply to a similar question from a couple of days ago:
1) XM is partly owned by Clear Channel (although, in fairness, Clear Channel did bring most of Air America Radio to Boston).
2) Sirius carries the complete Air America; XM replaces the great Mike Malloy with (alan colmes). Plus Sirius has another whole Talk Left channel with Thom Hartmann, Ed Schultz, Stephanie Miller, and (alan colmes), and another channel, Sirius OutQ, for gays and lesbians.
3) Sirius has Little Steven's Underground Garage channel, which is the best rock radio I've heard since the early 70s.
