When it comes to getting food, my roommate's dog is VERY tenacious! |
|
Today, Mystique got into the closet where Patrick keeps the big bags of dog and cat food, and had herself one hell of a feast! The closet door, you see, came off its hinges, so we leaned it against the closet opening with a suitcase against it. Not a heavy enough suitcase, it turns out. :eyes:
In the past, Mystique also got to food that I left at the very back of the kitchen counter, where I mistakenly assumed she couldn't reach. But never underestimate the power of a food-loving pit bull!
Another time, Mystique tore into a two-pound dish of ziti that I had left out, and later puked it up all over Patrick's bed. Ahh, doggies!

not to mention the dog can kick your ass should you unwisely choose to discipline it.

3. The only time I ever truly wanted to do away with my dog |
|
Was when I made a beautiful cake and sat it on the table to cool... yeah, you know what happened. LOL! I called the vet too because it was a chocolate cake. I took great pleasure in feeding the dog salt (per the vet's instructions) to force her to up-chuck the cake.

5. They are so good at that. |

My doggies are big too, well one is middle sized but the other two are big. They can get it anywhere. The funniest was when I was a kid and my mother had to take us somewhere in a hurry and left the dinner on the table. We came home and the roast was gone and the plate was clean. She would never have known what happened but the dog (who we never figured out how she got up there, she was just a little one) had walked through the jello and left pawprints on the tablecloth. It was truly funny.
