Anyone else watch it last night? The animal rights activist mom from California was so god damn annoying. The mom from Lousiana was so damn cool. The activist was always harping on her new family and was trying to ram down her point of view. She was insensitive and mean, and stupid as fuck too. She was also snotty, making some comments about their clothes.

She was so bad I have to wonder if she's even real. This is Fox afterall.

1. Just because it's a reality series, doesn't mean that they can't mold

the viewer's political perceptions. Sounds like this is a case where they pick people to reinforce the stereotype that they want to imprint.

I wouldn't put it past Fox to go out of its way to make a vegan woman from CA look bad (and she did unfortunately).

My wife got roped in to watching it earlier in the season, when the rural family traded up with the rich fundie family from California. It astounded me how naive and vapid that fundie wife was regarding her living in the rural family's house. It just can't be real, and if it is, God help us. This society is going to shit.
