I am an airline captain on LTD (long-term-disability). I look it as a medical retirement, which it is.

Both jobs are hospital jobs, so officially private sector I suppose (I'm a nursing student). I just got a job a little over a week ago and I'm supposed to start my orientation in two weeks. It's 20 hours a week but with benefits and I "should" get extra hours if I want (I need full-time) and after 4 months of looking, I was happy. Today, I get called by another hospital (which is actually the one I originally wanted to work at) to interview for a full-time position Friday.
Just when I thought things were getting good, I find that they may be getting even better. :D
