I'm on page 198 of a 390-page book that I have to finish reading TONIGHT. |

I read about 65 pages in only 70-75 minutes. It's a pretty easy book to read, actually. I absolutely HAVE to finish reading it by tomorrow morning (for an English class, BTW), because I have to type a research essay on it right away.
I figure it'll take three and a half hours to finish if I cruise through the rest of it.
BUT WHY AM I ON DU???!!!

My super-liberal English teacher is so cool. She made us read a very interesting book that has been banned by many libraries.

8. Only read every third page. |

Just make sure you get the last page in there, too.

Smiley Boy -
this sounds like a fairly interesting book - and one I'd never heard of -
think I'll give it a read - I just requested it from the Houston Public Library- and will pick it up at the BARBARA BUSH BRANCH tomorrow.
It'll be a great day - a new book to read - and I'll annoy a few Republicans. They always look at me funny - I look more like the Ladies Home Journal type - and they get so confused when I check out anything they consider "liberal".
Thanks for the tip - and good luck on the report!

10. There's a lot of good stuff in the book that RWer's frown upon. |

Drug use and excessive violence, namely.
It's a really good book. It's fiction, written in 1996 or so, I think.
