2. I'm a born and bred Minnesotan.

I was raised by a Vikings fan, am sister to a few Vikings fans, and am married to a Vikings fan.

My two-year-old son wears a Culpeper jersey every Sunday, and my four-year-old wears Moss.

We like the Vikings a little. :)

4. You should have seen me when I was 14.

I was a crazy nutcase Vikings fan. I would burst into tears crying everytime they lost. I seriously think the 1998 Championship Game was a traumatic event for me. It's a repressed memory now.:D

That's one of the perks of being a Minnesotan: fair-weather fandom!

Doesn't matter what the team is, you can guarantee one thing: a decent/stellar first half of the season, followed by a steady decline toward the end, and yet another season of dashed hopes and dreams.

6. I'm not a fair-weather fan...

The Vikings have sucked the past three years and still sell out the dome every game. That proves it for me.

Besides, the only two Minnesota sports teams I cheer for are the Vikes and T-Wolves. My hockey team is the Winnipeg Jets (pending their return), My baseball team is the BoSox, and my college teams are the NDSU Bison. I HATE the Gophers in everything, and likewise the Twins.
