and i gotta say, it was quite an enjoyable movie....johnny deep really played a great character - i understand he based it on kieth richards, well done choice....

What a fun movie that was, now that's one movie I'm glad they're doing a sequel to.
Johnny Depp deserved that Oscar nom, as you said Cap'n Jack Sparrow is a great character. He's the one that made that film a hit--had he played it straight it wouldn't have been as enjoyable, IMO.
